Symbolic Enterprise Platform

On-site deployment means you download and install the Symbolic Enterprise Platform on your own hardware at your data center for maximum flexibility.  Licensing is an annual software subscription with updates and support from Byte-Code srl. Support include:

• Symbolic Web Control Center
• Puppet
• Puppet-team
• Func
• Cobbler Provisioning

Symbolic Virtual Appliance

Managing installation af all parts of Symbolic Enterprise Platform (like cobbler servers, puppet-team gateway, func clients, etc...) could be time-expensive and not so immediate. Symbolic Virtual Appliance is a set of pre-configured virtua machiens (Xen, Kvm, VM-Ware) to reduce the time-to-market solution. Pricinig is an annual subscription that includes:

• Symbolic Enterprise Platform Support
• Pre-Configured Provisioning Server (cobbler)
• Pre-Configured Configuration Management Server (puppet)
• ISOs set for different Linux distributions:
  • RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL4, RHEL5)
  • CentOS (4, 5)
• RedHat Subscriptions and support are included
• USB 2 Hard Disk with all virtual images and isos:
  • Xen
  • KVm
  • VM-Ware
